Thirty-five workers were arrested Wednesday in six old age homes across the country on suspicion of abusing elderly residents and treating them inappropriately. Following an undercover police operation, it emerged that the workers - most of whom were foreign citizens with fake identity cards - were employed under harsh conditions. The foreign workers are set to be expelled from Israel.
