5 dead in IAF helicopter crash; 8 more in clashes

Five IDF soldiers were killed after Hizbullah shot down their helicopter over southern Lebanon Saturday, it was revealed early Sunday morning. Additionally, it was released for publication that eight other soldiers were killed and one seriously wounded in Saturday's fighting. Four died when their tank rode over an explosive device in the village of Atiri; another four - an officer and three soldiers - were killed by an anti-tank missile that hit their tank in the eastern sector village of Hirbat Kasis. The soldiers' families were informed.
