6 border policemen wounded in sec. fence protest

Six Border Policeman were wounded by stones thrown at them by Palestinians protesting the construction of the security fence near the village of Beit Sira between Latrun and Modi'in on Friday. Five received medical treatment at the scene, and the sixth was evacuated to a nearby hospital. The villages of Beit Sira, Abud, and Bil'in have been the sites of weekly demonstration, often violent, attempting to disrupt the completion of the fence.
