70 drivers stopped for driving on road shoulder

Police have stopped 70 drivers driving on the shoulder of the highway. The drivers were trying to avoid the heavy Passover traffic jams. The fine for this infraction is NIS 750. 180 people were injured Wednesday - two seriously and five moderately - in road accidents, Army Radio reported.
