8-year-old moderately wounded after being hit by car in Jerusalem

An 8-year-old boy was moderately wounded on Thursday after being hit by a car in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo. According to police, the driver of the car fled the scene. Police were searching for the vehicle, which is described as being a green Peugot 206. The boy was evacuated to a Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital for further treatment.
