The Histadrut Labor Federation reached an agreement with the Finance Ministry on Wednesday night to end their two-day strikes. Representatives from both sides met for some four hours in an effort to prevent the continuation of strikes in civil service offices. Histadrut officials said that the order to transfer the accounts of government workers to a commercial bank had been frozen.
