The AHAVA animal rights organization has opened a special hotline to help pet owners locate animals that go missing on Independence Day. According to AHAVA, thousands of dogs - startled by fireworks - escape their owners every year during Independence Day celebrations. Worried owners or anyone who finds a lost dog can contact the organization at: 09-958-8833.
