About 300 residents of Baka al-Gharbiya attempted on Monday to lynch a couple living in their city and burn down their house after suspecting the two were responsible for shooting at a local restaurant. Border Police managed to keep the crowd from reaching the couple's home. After negotiating, the feuding parties decided that the couple's family would move back to Lod, from where the couple originated, Army Radio reported.
