'Bar Law' passes initial vote in Knesset

The "Bar Law" passed an initial vote in the Knesset on Wednesday. Three MKs objected: MK Michael Eitan (Likud) MK Gidon Sa'ar (Likud) and MK Alex Miller (Israel Beiteinu). The law proposal, initiated by Kadima MK Ruhama Avraham, calls for all sales of alcohol to be prohibited after 2 a.m. The purpose of the law is to decrease the number of road accident during the late hours of the night, as well as violent incidents.
