Beersheba: Suspicious bag thrown at bus station

The Beersheba Central Bus Station was closed for a short time on Friday due to an unidentified bag thrown on the ground by a suspicious Arab man escaping security personnel. The man was noticed by security personnel, who began a chase after him. He was captured, stripped in a search for explosives on his body and taken for investigation. The suspicious bag was checked and neutralized by police sappers. There was no confirmation as to its contents. A suspicious car was also located nearby and police were checking it.
