A brief terror alert at the Beersheba central bus station was lowered early Sunday afternoon. The alert had been raised after three people carrying large bags refused to stop for a security search. Security forces evacuated all civilians, including passengers and shopkeepers, from the area. After the arrests, the suspects' bags were transferred to police sappers, but nothing suspicious was found. All security forces in the area had been put on high alert.
