Right-wing activists Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Gvir on Sunday urged Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz to order the arrests of Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) Leader Nayef Hawatmeh and senior PLO official Faruq Qaddumi, if they enter Israel. The activists claimed that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was not authorized to exempt terrorists from criminal law and so they planned to petition the High Court of Justice if Mazuz does not order the arrests.
