Tourism Minister Avraham Hirschson (Kadima) announced Wednesday that he would suspend a bill proposing to establish a legal casino in Eilat until after the upcoming elections. He explained that he was not interested in taking advantage of the sensitive political atmosphere in order to pass the bill unfairly. Israel Radio reported that Hirchson would reintroduce the issue after the elections.
