A police officer accidentally discharged his weapon only a number of meters from where Tourism Minister Yitzhak Ahronovich was standing, Army Radio reported. The policeman, one of the minister's bodyguards, was taken in for questioning to determine the cause. Ahronovich's spokesman confirmed that the incident took place, but stressed that the minister did not feel threatened at any point. "The details of the incident were only made know to the minister in retrospect. We're all ok. It is true that there was a bit of a hullabaloo, but nothing to get agitated over."
