Boim: Attacks meant to release pressure from Syria

Deputy Defense Minister Ze'ev Boim, speaking on Channel 1 TV, said the battle with Hizbullah has spread to the entire northern front. Boim added that there were no Israeli soldiers kidnapped in today's violence. He added that Hizbullah's actions were aimed at releasing pressure from Syria - which is implicated in the assassination of former Lebanese leader Rafik Hariri. Boim said he would be joining a security assessment later this evening.
