Border Police arrest 1,120 illegal workers from PA

Israel Border Police announced that over the weekend they carried out a campaign against Palestinian workers who had illegally entered Israel, and that as a result of this operation, 1,120 suspects were detained. The detainees included 22 people who aided the workers in entering Israel illegally and 13 Israeli employers. In addition, 12 of the workers were called in for investigation by the Shin Bet. Police said that indictments would be issued against all of those arrested.
