Cabinet approves increase in bread prices

The cabinet on Sunday approved a proposal to raise bread prices by 12 percent, and to compensate lower-income population groups for the increase by raising their National Insurance allocations by 3%. Following the approval, bakeries were expected to resume production of price-controlled bread.
