Security forces imposed a general closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip Friday in preparation for Yom Kippur. The closure will be in effect until Tuesday. Palestinian medical workers, attorneys and religious officials who have business in Israel will have freedom of movement. About 3000 Palestinian laborers who hold permits for olive harvesting work will also be allowed to cross unhindered.
