Comptroller: Political nominations are a cancer

State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss said on Sunday that political appointments were "a cancer in the nation's body." He asserted that the state's inability to respond was what allowed the nominations to become more and more corrupt. According to Lindenstrauss, the corruption in Israel has increased and it must be uprooted with an iron hand, Israel Radio reported.
