The condition of 83-year-old singer Shoshana Damari worsened to "very serious," while her body was not responding to medical treatments, Ichilov Hospital officials told Israel Radio late Saturday night. Damari was hospitalized at the Tel Aviv hospital's intensive care unit Saturday night following a bout with a severe case of pneumonia. Damari was put on a respirator and placed in a medically induced coma after suffering from inadequate breathing.
