Eitan: Schalit likely to be freed while Olmert's still in office

"The deal freeing [captured IDF soldier] Gilad Schalit could be completed in six weeks," Pensioners Affairs Minister Rafi Eitan said in an interview with Army Radio on Sunday. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert recently appointed Eitan to the committee dealing with the matter. The minister added, "The agreement that will bring about Schalit's release is likely to be signed while Olmert's still in office."
