Firefighters in the Jezreel Valley were continuing to fight a gigantic forest fire near Kibbutz Mishmar Haemek on Thursday evening. Ten firefighter units, assisted from the air by two helicopters, were unable to control the blaze throughout the day. According to Army Radio, kibbutz members were being allowed to return to their homes due to a change in the direction of the wind that was taking the fire away from the members' homes.
