Foreign minister-hopeful Silvan Shalom meets Netanyahu

Prime Minister-designate Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday met fellow Likud MK Silvan Shalom for discussions on political, diplomatic and economic issues. Israel Radio reported that Shalom was hoping to be appointed foreign minister in Netanyahu's cabinet, but that the job had been offered to Israel Beiteinu leader Avigdor Lieberman.
