Former Shin Bet chief Amos Manor dies aged 88

Former head of the Shin Bet (Israel Security Service) Amos Manor died Sunday, aged 88. Manor performed various roles in the Shin Bet and was its chief from 1953 to 1963. He played a significant role in the Shin Bet's establishment as a secret organization in the early years of the state.
