Four injured in road accidents Tuesday

A pedestrian was lightly injured Tuesday night in a hit and run accident in Jaffa. Police were searching for the driver. Earlier Tuesday, two people were seriously injured and another person lightly injured in a chain collision on Highway 4 near Kibbutz Nitzanim. A resident of Kibbutz Yad Mordechai was seriously injured Tuesday after she was hit by a van near the kibbutz. A total of 113 people were injured Tuesday in road accidents. Ten were listed in moderate condition. Fifty people have been killed in automobile accidents since the start of 2006, Army Radio reported.
