MK Zehava Gal-On (Meretz) slammed the government's failure to reach an agreement with a large number of Holocaust survivors on Sunday, saying that "the government is allowing only a few of the survivors to receive funds while no arrangement has been found for the vast majority." According to Israel Radio, she added that "the government is using the salami method" - a divide-and-conquer means of bringing down opponents.
