The Golan Police were investigating Sunday an incident last week in which some 150 cherry trees were uprooted from an orchard in a Druse village near Majdal Shams. The owner of the orchard said that while he didn't know who had uprooted the trees, he suspected IDF soldiers. The IDF's Northern Command said that the issue was not in its purview.
