At least 15 soldiers from the 51st Golani Bridgade left their base in southern Israel without permission on Thursday afternoon. The soldiers complained of inappropriate treatment by their commanders, who were working to bring the soldiers back to the base. Last week, a similar "mutiny" occurred in the 13th Golani Brigade. Soldiers who went AWOL from their base returned 12 hours later and were sentenced to 35 days on base.
