Sources in the Prime Minister's Office denied on Monday night a statement by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan which said Israel had agreed to let Annan mediate between Israel and Hizbullah regarding the return of the kidnapped IDF soldiers. "We did not agree that the UN and Kofi Annan would be the mediators," the sources said.
