A guard at the Sharon Prison cut himself Sunday in a gesture of protest. A prison spokesperson said that the guard, who had expressed dissatisfaction in the past with certain assignments he received, cut his own arm after he was called in to speak with the warden. The guard's wound was minor, and he was treated. Prison officials have begun an investigation into the incident.
