The Haifa District Court on Wednesday convicted a 39-year-old man of conspiracy to aid an enemy, contact with a foreign agent and other security offenses. The man, a Palestinian who had converted to Judaism and changed his name to Asaf Ben David, was found guilty of planning to buy material for making explosives for his brother, an Islamic Jihad operative wanted by the IDF. The brother was killed before the material was delivered and Ben David converted to Islam shortly before his arrest.
