Halutz: Iran's threats should not be taken lightly

Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz said on Monday that Israel mustn't take lightly Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejed's calls for the destruction of Israel. In a special order, which he released on the occasion of Remembrance and Independence Days, Halutz noted that Israel had always had to fight for its existence as a free and independent nation, against those who fail to recognize the country's right to exist.
