Halutz: Our goal is to force Lebanese gov't to act

IDF Chief of the General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz told reported on Friday evening that the goals of IDF strikes on Lebanon were to force the Lebanese government to impose its will on the Hizbullah terror organization and to damage the organization itself. These goals, Halutz said, were intended to facilitate the return of two IDF soldiers kidnapped in a cross-border Hizbullah attack on Wednesday.
