Hirschson vows to reduce cost of public transport

Finance Minister Avraham Hirschson said that he wanted to reduce the fares on public transportation by 50 percent over the course of 2006, while addressing the Negev Conference in Beersheba on Tuesday. Hirschson added that during the past year, six billion shekels were invested in the development of the Negev.
