An IAF aircraft fired a missile in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, targeting an empty field used by militants to fire rockets into northern Israel, the IDF said. There were no reports of injuries or damage. The airstrike was the second carried out by Israel on Thursday. It was part of an operation in response to a Palestinian suicide bombing that killed five Israelis in Hadera on Wednesday.
