Israeli Air Force gunships fired missiles Friday at four buildings in the Gaza Strip that were being used as weapons storage facilities, the IDF reported. One of the strikes destroyed the home of a member of Hamas's military wing in the Jabalya refugee camp outside of Gaza City, the IDF said. The terrorist was reported to have been wounded in the attack. His condition is unknown. A second missile strike in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, destroyed a weapons storehouse that doubled as meeting place for senior terror operatives, the IDF said. Secondary explosions were identified in the two buildings, indicating the presence of weaponry inside, the army said. Later, buildings belonging to Hamas and the Popular Resistance Committees were attacked from the air in Beit Lahiya and Khan Yunis. Palestinians reported that five buildings had been hit in, resulting in five wounded, including the gunman from Hamas's military wing. The conditions of the wounded were not known. Prior to the attack on these terror facilities, and in order to ensure the safety of civilians in the area, the IDF warned the population not to stay in structures that are used by terrorist organizations for storing weaponry. The IDF spokespersons office warned the innocent civilians of Gaza not to allow terrorist groups to store arms in their homes. The IDF released the following statement hours after the operation: "The IDF will continue to act with determination in order to defend the citizens of the State of Israel, and will continue to employ all means at its disposal to combat terrorists and their supporters, in order to uphold the security of the citizens of Israel."
