IDF forces fired artillery shells at Kassam rocket launching sites overnight Thursday in the northern Gaza Strip. Early Friday morning, Sderot's "red dawn" alert system was initialized after two Kassam rockets were launched over the southern town. The rockets reportedly fell near the Zikim army base. No one was wounded and no damage was incurred as a result of the incident, Army Radio reported.
