IDF kills three Palestinians in central Gaza

Israeli ground troops on Wednesday opened fire on three armed Palestinians, killing two of them and wounding the third in this central Gaza town, Palestinian medical officials and the army said. According to the army, the three were planting an explosive device on a road used by army ground troops to enter central Gaza. Palestinian medical officials said they were killed by an explosion. The incident took place shortly after an Israeli tank shell fired on a car traveling in the same town which also killed one Palestinian.
