IDF officer jailed for refusing reserve duty

IDF armored corps Capt. Amir Paster began a 28-day jail term on Sunday after refusing a reserve duty call-up. The officer refused to serve in the fighting in Lebanon on the grounds that his conscience would not permit him to endanger civilians.
