An IDF vehicle caught on fire after being hit by a firebomb south of Nablus Friday night. The soldiers in the vehicle were uninjured and returned fire at two suspects who attempted to flee from the scene. While many homemade firebombs are thrown at both IDF and civilian vehicles, it is relatively rare that they succeed in setting the vehicles aflame.
