Iran is set to allocate 50 million dollars to the Palestinian Authority, state-run Tehran television reported on Sunday. Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki announced the aid package during a conference held in Tehran in support of the Palestinians. The aid is destined to alleviate the economic hardship which the PA has experienced since the EU and the US withdrew their financial assistance.
