Islamic Jihad claim kibbutz rocket strike

The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for firing a Kassam rocket on Monday evening which left three people lightly wounded. The rocket scored a direct hit on a residential home in Kibbutz Karmiya, just north of Ashkelon, causing damages. An 8-month-old baby, whose ear drum was damaged in the explosion, was lightly wounded along with her mother and grandmother, who had both suffered from shock.
