Israel slams Moscow criticism of Kassam response

The Foreign Ministry has responded harshly to a statement released by Moscow over the weekend in which Russia criticizes Israel's response to Palestinian Kassam attacks, which according to the country's leaders, is overly cruel. Russia created an unfair comparison between randomly firing rockets at innocent civilians and Israel's restrained response, a source in Jerusalem told Israel Radio on Sunday. Israel expects that a country that it has ties with such as Russia, who has itself experienced terror, will support Israel's struggle against terror, he added.
