An Israeli archeologist taking part in a dig in Jerusalem's ancient City of David was stoned Tuesday near the Temple Mount, the archeologist said. The archeologist was not injured in the early morning attack near a Muslim cemetery in the area, but the stone hit his car. The suspected Arab assailants fled the scene and a border police patrol did not find the attackers. Jerusalem police spokeswoman Sigal Toledo said that a group of Arab children apparently threw the stone.
