Jerusalem traffic fatalities nosedive in 2005

The number of people killed in traffic accidents in Jerusalem over the last year dropped a whopping 57 percent compared to the year before, the city said Tuesday. 13 people were killed on the city's roads in 2005, compared to 30 the year before. Nationwide, 321 people have been killed in traffic accidents since the beginning of this year, a 12% drop compared to last year, according to Ministry of Transportation statistics.
