The Jerusalem Municipality called an urgent meeting for Sunday afternoon on the gay pride parade planned for Thursday and is expected to announce that it opposes the march. City council member Yair Gabbai demands that Mayor Uri Lupolianski prohibit the march's organizers from holding it in Liberty Bell Park, which, he said, was maintained by the city. According to Israel Radio, three members of the city council opposition have also been invited to the meeting.
