Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's army service as a military correspondent for the IDF's Bemahane magazine does not appear in Olmert's biography on the Kadima party website, Army Radio reported Sunday. In addition, the website stated that Olmert was first elected to the Knesset in 1996, rather than in 1993. Kadima officials said in response that the party had no intention of hiding Olmert's army service from the public, and that the inaccurate date would be corrected.
