Police Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi said Monday that there were non-specific warnings of terrorist organizations planning attacks over the New Year period. Israel Radio reported that Karadi had also increased security around Christian holy sites in the wake of the Muslim protests over the Pope's recent remarks about Islam and jihad.
