A Kassam was fired from northern Gaza into an open area south of Ashkelon early Wednesday morning, Israel Radio reported. No casualties or property damage were initially reported. The area south of Ashkelon is considered particularly sensitive, due to the industrial zone that is located there. While factories have taken hits from the rockets, launched by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza, no serious damage has been caused in that area.
