Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket at Israeli territory Saturday morning. The rocket landed in an open area south of Ashkelon, causing no injuries. The Kassam launches have continued in recent weeks despite IDF action aimed at halting the attacks. Palestinians reported tank incursions near the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanun overnight. On Thursday Palestinians fired five rockets at Israel. Two of the rockets hit buildings, heavily damaging one.
